CNA / GNA Training
Certified Nursing Assistants also known as Nurse Aide help care for physically or mentally ill, injured, disabled or infirm individuals in their homes, at the hospitals, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living facilities, and mental health settings. They provide hands-on care, and perform routine tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

- $50 Registration Fee (Non-Refundable)
- Copy of State Issued Photo ID & Social Security Card
- Verifiable Proof of High School Diploma or Transcripts or GED
- Evidence of current CPR Certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
- Payment of the 1st Installment of required fees
- Proof of current, negative TB skin test or negative Chest X-Ray (Must be no more than 6 months old)
- Physical exam from a physician-stating student is physically able. (Must be no more than 6 months old)
- Proof of Hepatitis B Vaccine or Signed waiver
- Proof of personal health insurance coverage or sign a waiver form
- Proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination
Note: If you already have the shots/immunizations mentioned here, including your CPR & First Aid Card just bring copies of your records.
Payment is due in full on or before the first day of class. However, installment payments are available to students.
One time Payment –in – Full for tuition & lab fee only = $950 (excluding books & uniforms)
1st payment $350 Due on or before the first day of class.
2nd Payment $300 Due on or before the Friday of the second week.
Final Payment $300 Due on or before the Friday of the third week.
Note: Students who do not complete their tuition (a) Will not be allowed to take the final exam (b) Will not graduate (c) Will not be given any letter of reference.
Payment Options: We accept money orders, certified bank checks, business checks, debit and credit cards. No personal checks and cash please!
Payment Receipts: Students are entitled to and must request a receipt for all payments made to GHC. No refunds will be made without a receipt.
Refunds: No cash refunds. All refunds will be made by CHECK, not withstanding the form of payment used. All refunds will be based on the School Refund Policy.
BOARD OF NURSING ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS
PLEASE NOTE: If you have any disciplinary-action against you in the State of Maryland or out-of-state, you must complete an initial paper application. BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
- Have a VISA or MASTERCARD CREDIT or DEBIT CARD ready. The application fee is $20 (non-refundable)
- Have ready an electronic version of the passport size picture you took. The picture must not be greater than 800 X 600 pixels in size or (2X2 passport size). The picture must be saved in JPEG or PNG
- Have your e-mail address ready and Social Security Number. It must be a true and valid e-mail address!
- Have ready the Tracking Number given you when you did the fingerprint and criminal history record check.
Please Note: You MUST do your fingerprint before applying online.

- Click on “Online initial Certification application” under the heading NURSING on the left hand panel
- Click on “Apply for Initial Nursing Assistant Certification Application“
- Read the information on the page, then Click on “Proceed“
- Check off on 1 of the 2 options provided, and then Click on “Continue“
- Read the important information on the page, and then Click on “Next“
- Check off on 1 of the 3 options provided. If this is your first time, you will have to create a New Login name and a password. Note: The login is your e-mail address. After you have set up your login and password, and confirmed your password, Click on “Next“
- Ensure/verify that your names and address, are correct. Click on “Next“.
- Ensure/verify that your Social, Date of Birth, Gender, Race, Marital Status and Telephone Number are correct. Click on “Next“.
- Click to Look up the name of the School. Scroll down and Click on “Gandhi“. Type in the Date of Completion as shown in the Letter of Completion we gave you. (Note: The Date of Completion is different from the Date of graduation).Check “No”, “No”, “No” on the next 3 options provided. Click “Next“.
- Click on the appropriate option regarding your criminal background situation, then enter the CJIS Tracking Number found on the receipt given to you when you did your fingerprint/background check. Click on “Next“.
- Check-off 1 of the 3 options presented to you. Click “Continue“.
- Check-off the Type/Form of payment you desire to use. Click “Continue“.
- Enter your Payment Information. Click “Next“
- Click “I Confirm this Transaction”.
- Print a Copy of your Registration Receipt, then LOGOUT.

Theory: 88 hours (including 5hrs of CPR training)
Clinical: 40 hours
Graduation Requirements
Complete all 80 clock hours for theory/skills lab at a minimum 90% attendance rate, not missing and making up more than 8 clock hours of absence and,
- Complete all 40 clock hours of clinical at a minimum 80% attendance rate not missing and makeup more than 8 clock hours of absence
- Achieve at least accumulative 80% average on all quizzes, and exams and,
- Receive a “Pass” score in all Skills Lab and Clinical competencies and,
- Satisfy all financial obligations to Gandhi Health Care
Upon a satisfactory completion of program, an Achievement Award will be given if all graduation requirements are fulfilled
